Introduction:
Appearance: Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid.
Odor: Has a strong, unpleasant thiol-like odor, similar to the odor of garlic or onion, but more pungent than ordinary thiol odor.
Boiling point: 131 - 132ºC.
Relative density: 1.065 - 1.075 (20ºC).
Refractive index: 1.466 - 1.471.
Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, etc.

Application:
Organic synthesis intermediate: It is an important intermediate in organic synthesis. It can participate in a variety of chemical reactions, such as nucleophilic substitution reaction, oxidation reaction, etc., and is used to synthesize various sulfur-containing organic compounds.
