Introduction:
Oily liquid, with an aroma similar to popcorn, fried corn cakes, pome fruit and bread. Melting point 65ºC, boiling point 95~105ºC(2000Pa), flash point 78ºC. Refractive index (nD20) Chemicalbook 1.5480. Relative density (d420) 1.226. It exists naturally in cooked beef, cooked pork liver, asparagus, potatoes, and rice, and has an aroma similar to nuts, rice, and popcorn.
Application:
Food field: It is an important edible flavoring with unique aromas such as nuts, popcorn, roasted peanuts, chocolate, etc. It can be used to mix various edible flavors such as grains, nuts, baking, meat, etc., adding rich flavor to food. The recommended dosage is about 0.2-1.4mg/kg in the final flavored food.
Daily chemical industry: It can be used in perfumes, cosmetics, air fresheners and other products. Its unique aroma is used to enhance the flavor of the product, increase the attractiveness of the product, and bring a pleasant olfactory experience to people.
Organic synthesis: It is an important intermediate in organic synthesis. It can be used to prepare triazolothiazoles, chiral alcohols and other compounds. It can also be used in aldol polycondensation reactions. It is also the equivalent of α-hydroxypropionaldehyde β-anion.
