Physical and chemical properties
Appearance: Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid at room temperature.
Odor: Has a special fat-like odor.
Solubility: Slightly soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.
Boiling point: 213 - 215ºC.
