Introduction:
Colorless to light yellow viscous oily liquid, which may darken after long-term storage. It has an unpleasant compound odor and a nutty aroma when highly diluted. Boiling point 103ºC (133Pa), or 135ºC (933Pa). It is easily soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, benzene.
Application:
Food field: It is a food additive with beef and nut-like aroma. It can be used to prepare edible flavors, add unique flavors to nuts, dairy products, meat products, etc., can enhance the aroma of food, and improve the smell and taste experience of food.
Other fields: It can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and participate in the synthesis reaction of some organic compounds. It can also be used to study the combination of pea protein isolate and typical beef aroma substances, which has theoretical guiding significance for flavor regulation and modification during the thermal processing of plant meat production.
